The uberoid team has just released a new, universal uberoid v13 to Google Play. This means that there are now two separate builds of uberoid to help combat the problems with the old one. One is for 8GB RAM devices, while the other one is for 4GB RAM devices. This should make it much easier for everyone to find an appropriate build. It will be up to you which one you choose, but I personally recommend downloading and installing both to see how better they perform on your device before choosing which one you want as your main installation. I'll go over the differences and notable improvements of each build. The uberoid v13 builds: Both of these builds now allow for 128GB of extra RAM to be used on your device. The main difference is that the 8GB RAM build features a harder-to-identify 24/7 wallpaper, as well as a line color change in the status bar. The 4GB RAM build features a slightly midtone blue 24/7 wallpaper with white clouds, while the line color remains the same as always. Both will give you similar performance, but your mileage may vary. Then, there's the new build for a 4GB RAM device. The previous version, uberoid v5.3, was infamous for crashing and causing boot loops on most old devices. However, this one was specifically designed to fix those problems. It will perform better on older devices with slightly lower specs that run Android 4.1+ but no guarantees as there are many variables that can affect performance. This build will work better on devices with a CPU frequency between 200MHz and 1.2GHz, but it may not be compatible with all. I personally recommend this build for a device that has a CPU frequency of 1.0GHz or below, or a GPU frequency of 21MHz or below. The build comes in at 461MB, and seems to perform well on my old Galaxy Nexus running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean (the latest version of Android that's available for many devices). Download the builds from here: Google Play If you have a compatible device, I'd recommend giving uberoid a shot. It's an unofficial build of Android 5 Lollipop, and it's designed to be extremely fast. Uberoid actually began as an AOSP build with no Gapps (stock apps), which makes it appealing to people who like to tinker with systems. It can't be themed or modified, but it can give your device a significant speed boost. cfa1e77820
